1. Information we collect

Depending on how you use Clauset, we may collect:

Information you give us

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Billing and delivery address
  • Account information
  • Order and purchase information
  • Anything you tell us when you get in touch
  • Business and product information provided by brands and sellers

Payment information

Payments are processed by our third-party payment providers. We do not need to store your full card or payment credentials on our own systems.

Collected automatically

When you use the website we receive basic technical information: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited and how the site was used. It keeps Clauset secure and working.

2. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • Process and deliver orders
  • Process payments and refunds
  • Create and manage customer and seller accounts
  • Talk to you about orders, accounts or support requests
  • Operate and improve Clauset
  • Prevent fraud, misuse and security problems
  • Keep business, accounting and legal records
  • Send marketing you have agreed to receive
  • Comply with the law

We use your information only for legitimate business purposes and as the law permits.

3. Marketing

If you subscribe to the newsletter or other marketing, we use your email address to send updates, new arrivals, promotions and Clauset news. You can unsubscribe at any time from the link in every email, or by writing to clauset.shop@gmail.com.

4. When we share your information

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

We share it with trusted third parties only where that is needed to run Clauset:

  • Payment providers
  • Shipping and delivery providers
  • Website hosting and technology providers
  • Email and communication providers
  • Customer support and other service providers
  • The brand or seller, where your order needs it
  • Government authorities, where the law requires it

Each gets only what it reasonably needs. When you place an order, for example, the seller receives your name, delivery information and order details so the order can be fulfilled and shipped.

5. International transfers

Some of our service providers store or process personal information outside Thailand. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure the information keeps the protection that applicable data protection law requires.

6. How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes in this policy: providing our services, completing transactions, resolving disputes, keeping business and accounting records, and meeting legal obligations. When it is no longer needed we delete it or dispose of it appropriately, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

7. Cookies

Clauset uses cookies and similar technologies to make the website work, remember your preferences, and keep you signed in. You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may stop working if you block the ones it needs. If we ever introduce advertising or tracking cookies, we will provide whatever consent mechanism the law requires. The cookie policy lists every cookie we set today and how long each one lasts.

8. Your rights

Under Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) you may have the right to:

  • Ask for access to your personal information
  • Ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete
  • Ask us to delete it, in certain circumstances
  • Ask us to restrict how we process it, in certain circumstances
  • Object to certain kinds of processing
  • Withdraw consent, where the processing rests on consent
  • Ask for a copy of certain information in a portable format
  • Withdraw from marketing at any time

These rights are subject to the exceptions and requirements the law sets. To use any of them, write to clauset.shop@gmail.com.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration and disclosure. No website or electronic transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. If we become aware of a personal data breach that has to be reported, we take the steps the law requires.

10. Children's privacy

Clauset is not intended for children who are not legally permitted to use online shopping services, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information without the legal basis or consent the law requires. If you believe a child has given us personal information, tell us and we will deal with it.

11. Changes to this policy

We update this policy as Clauset grows, as our services change, or as the law changes. The latest version is always on this page, with the date it was updated at the top.
